The firm handles interesting, serious criminal cases from murder, complex conspiracy/wiretap drug charges, sexual assaults and property/firearm offences, including many high profile cases The partners are also frequently retained to provide legal opinions on charges, provide advice to corporations in criminal/statutory investigations, and advise/assist on professional administrative matters.

The partners are active in mentoring law students and young lawyers and encourage involvement in professional education activities such as MBA/CBA. The commitment and contribution to the profession is valued and encouraged by all counsel at the firm.

The successful candidate will have experience in criminal law practice (defence or crown) and possess the following:

* An ability to be called to the Bar in Manitoba
* oral advocacy/trial experience
* legal analysis
* excellent legal research and writing skills
* appellate advocacy experience an asset
* outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
* strong work ethic and self-motivated
* highly organized
